My Lion's Heart created out of love and best friends, wanting to make a difference in the lives of children and teens. As mothers, their priority has always been their children. As young mothers, they made sure their children had the necessities they needed to start their day. They wanted them to feel confident when they left the house for school. Their rationing was if they looked good, they would feel good and hopefully have a good day.
One morning, Lovisa on her drive into work noticed many young kids out on their way to school in the rain half-dressed. No umbrellas, no coats, no hats, no boots, and she thought why are these children out in the rain improperly dressed. If she would have had an umbrella or coat in her car, Lovisa would have given it to them. Lovisa knew then she wanted to help make a change. Lovisa talked to Suzette about it and they came up with My Lion’s Heart, founded out of love and the need to help less fortunate children.
Both born under the zodiac sign of Leo the lion, they have big hearts. They are loyal and protective, and they just want to help every child have a good day by starting it out looking and feeling their best. They are taking up donations to create My Cubby bags for every school-age child from K-12. My Cubby bags are filled with everyday essentials that would allow every child to look and feel their best for the day. They would also get book bags, coats, hats, gloves, etc. Please join us in helping to make a difference. TOGETHER WE CAN!
